 SEJARAH UNIVERSITAS BUDI LUHUR

Budi Utomo No. 11 Jakarta Pusat.
  1. Jurusan Manajemen Informatika, dengan program studi :
    a. Manajemen Informatika (D-III Diakui dan S-1 Terdaftar)
    b. Komputerisasi Akuntansi (D-III dan S1 Terdaftar).
  2. Jurusan Teknik Informatika dengan program studi Teknik Informatika (S-1 Terdaftar).

The series begins with the execution of Gol D. Roger, a man known as the King of the Pirates (海賊王 Kaizokuō?). Just before his death, Roger announces that his treasure, the One Piece (ひとつなぎの大秘宝 (ワンピース) Wan Pīsu?), will be up for the taking, causing the Great Pirate Era (大海賊時代 Dai Kaizoku Jidai?) to begin. As a result, countless pirates set out to the Grand Line to look for the treasure.
Twenty-two years have passed since Roger's execution, and Monkey D. Luffy, a young pirate inspired by Red Haired Shanks, has since set off on a journey from the East Blue Ocean to succeed Roger and find the legendary treasure. He organizes and leads a nine-member crew named the Straw Hat Pirates. Each crew member Luffy encounters eventually become his close friends, including the swordsman Roronoa Zoro, the navigator and thief Nami, the sniper Usopp, the womanizing chef and martial artist Sanji, the doctor and anthropomorphized reindeer Tony Tony Chopper, the archaeologist Nico Robin, the cyborg shipwright Franky, and the musician skeleton Brook.
The crew crosses paths with diverse villains, such as Buggy the Clown, many of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, the Navy, who place bounties on Luffy's, Zoro's, and eventually the rest of the crew's heads, and Arlong, a fishman and member of the former Sun Pirates. They encounter Baroque Works, the crime syndicate responsible for a civil war in the desert kingdom of Alabasta, along with fellow pirate Blackbeard, whose dream is also to become the King of the Pirates. The crew also confronts Eneru, the ruler of the floating island Skypiea. Later, the crew meets the navy admiral Aokiji, who reveals that Robin was involved in searching for Poneglyphs, stones with markings left by an ancient civilization. The crew also encounters Cipher Pol No. 9, the intelligence agency responsible for the destruction of Robin's homeland, who causes the pirates to declare war on the World Government. After an epic battle at Enies Lobby, the crew defeats CP9 - saving Robin and avenging the lives lost in the destruction.
Some time later, the crew prepares to sail off to the New World, the second half of the Grand Line. The crew eventually gets separated during a battle with Bartholomew Kuma at the Sabaody Archipelago. At the same time, the navy sentences Luffy's older brother, Portgas D. Ace, to be executed, and hold a war against a group of pirates led by Whitebeard. Luffy rescues Ace, but both Whitebeard and Ace are killed in the ensuing chaos. Later, Luffy and the crew undergo rigorous training regimens, some under the tutelage of prominent figures. Two years later, the crew regroups and journeys to Sabody Island to enter the New World. At the same time, a group of evil fishman pirates appear, and holds a coup d'état to decide the fate of the island, but are eventually defeated by the Straw Hats alongside Jimbei. The Straw Hats leave Sabody Island and finally reach the New World, but not before starting a feud with the legendary pirate Big Mom. Their first destination is the burning island Punk Hazard.

The story of Gin Tama takes place in Edo (known today as Tokyo because of its name change in 1868), Japan, which was conquered by aliens called "Amanto" (天人?, "Sky People") in the late Edo period. The samurai of Japan fought the aliens, but after their defeat the Amanto placed a ban on carrying swords in public. The plot is focused on an eccentric samurai, Gintoki Sakata who helps a teenager named Shinpachi Shimura save his sister Tae from a group of aliens who want to make her part of a brothel. Impressed with Gintoki, Shinpachi becomes his apprentice and works with him as a freelancer in order to pay the monthly rent where Gintoki lives, as well as to know more about him. The two of them rescue a teenage alien girl named Kagura from a group of Yakuza who wanted to use her superhuman strength to kill people. Kagura joins Shinpachi and Gintoki to work as freelancers and the three become known as "Yorozuya" (万事屋?, "We do everything"). While doing their job they encounter the police force Shinsengumi several times, who normally ally with Odd Jobs Gin in their work since they commonly involve dangerous criminals. They also come to meet Gintoki's former comrades during the Amanto's invasion, including the terrorist Kotaro Katsura who maintains a friendly relationship with them despite his ambitions to destroy the bakufu. On the other hand, Shinsuke Takasugi acts as a major antagonist throughout the series, as he wants to destroy the bakufu in a more violent way than Katsura does.
Although the series' story is commonly episodic, there are also a few story arcs which are developed through several chapters.[1]

Ichigo Kurosaki is a teenager gifted with the ability to see spirits. His life is drastically changed by the sudden appearance of a Soul Reaper—one who governs the flow of souls between the human world and the afterlife—named Rukia Kuchiki, who arrives in search of a Hollow, a dangerous lost soul. When Rukia is severely wounded defending Ichigo from the Hollow, she attempts to transfer her reiatsu (霊圧?, literally, "spiritual pressure") energy to Ichigo so that he can defeat the Hollow. However, Ichigo takes almost all of her energy, transforming into a Soul Reaper and allowing him to defeat the Hollow with ease. With her powers diminished, Rukia is left stranded in the human world until she can recover her strength. In the meantime, Ichigo must take over Rukia's role as a Soul Reaper, battling Hollows and guiding souls to the afterlife realm known as the Soul Society (尸魂界 (ソウル·ソサエティ) Sōru Sosaeti?).
As time passes and Rukia has yet to return to the Soul Society, her Soul Reaper superiors learn about her whereabouts and actions and sentence her to death for performing the illegal act of transferring her powers. Although he is unable to stop Rukia's departure to the Soul Society, Ichigo resolves to rescue her with the aid of several of his spiritually aware classmates, Orihime Inoue, Yasutora (Chad) Sado, and Uryū Ishida, and the ex-Soul Reapers Yoruichi Shihōin and Kisuke Urahara. Once at the Soul Society, Ichigo and company battle against the elites of the Soul Reaper military and strive to reach Rukia before her execution.
It is revealed that Rukia's execution and Ichigo's rescue attempt both had been manipulated by a very high-ranking Soul Reaper, Sōsuke Aizen, who was previously believed to have been murdered, as part of a far-reaching plot to take control of the Soul Society. Aizen betrays his fellow Soul Reapers and allies himself with the strongest of the Hollows, the Espadas, whom he enhances. Aizen thus becomes the main antagonist of the series, and the Soul Reapers form an alliance with Ichigo, though many feel his being a Substitute is wrong, and they don't like him.
At this point, Bleach chronicles the war between the Soul Reapers, the Espadas, and Aizen. After Aizen defeats the Soul Reaper captains, Ichigo undergoes intense training with his father Isshin who turns out to be a former Soul Reaper to become strong enough to battle Aizen alone. As Aizen is weakened by his battle with Ichigo, a spell that Urahara had previously hidden within him activates and seals him, thus ending the conflict and leaving the Soul Society to imprison him. As a result of using all of his Soul Reaper powers to defeat Aizen, Ichigo loses them and becomes an ordinary human once again.
Seventeen months later, Ichigo meets "Xcution", a group of humans possessing Fullbring powers based on Hollows and want Ichigo to absorb them. Ichigo starts training to regain his Soul Reaper powers by first developing his own Fullbring following the appearance of Shūkurō Tsukishima, the former leader of Xcution who is targeting his friends. After developing his Fullbring, Ichigo is betrayed by Xcution's current leader Kūgo Ginjō, a former Substitute Soul Reaper who had his memories rewritten to act as Tsukishima's enemy and help Ichigo gain powers to steal them. With help from Soul Society, Ichigo regains his Soul Reaper powers and starts fighting Ginjō's group alongside Soul Society's forces. The Soul Society forces end victorious with Ichigo killing Ginjō and Byakuya Kuchiki, Rukia's adoptive brother and a Soul Reaper captain, presumably killing Tsukishima.
Following these events, a group of Quincies called the "Vandenreich" declares war on the Soul Society. Ichigo once again ventures to Hueco Mundo, which has also been invaded by the Vandenreich; at the same time, the captains in the Soul Society battle a powerful group in the Vandenreich army known as the "Stern Ritter". During the invasion several Captains had their bankai stolen by the Stern Ritter. Meanwhile Captain Yamamoto took revenge on the Quincy who stole Sasakibe's bankai and then immediately sought out their leader who he identified as "Juha Bach" who up till now was referred to by the other Quincy as "His Majesty".

Doraemon is sent back in time by a young boy named Sewashi Nobi to improve the circumstances of his great grandfather, Nobita so that his descendants may enjoy a better future. In the original time-line, Nobita experienced nothing but misery and misfortune manifested in the form of poor marks and grades, physical disasters, and bullying throughout his life. This culminates in the burning down of a future business he set up which leaves his family line beset with financial problems. In order to alter history and better the Nobi family's fortunes, Sewashi sent him a robot called Doraemon.
Doraemon has a pocket from which he produces many gadgets, medicines, and tools from the future. The pocket is called yōjigen-pocket (lit. fourth-dimensional pocket). Some of the gadgets (dōgu) are based on real Japanese household devices with fanciful twists, but most are completely science fiction (although some may be based on folklore or religious stories). Thousands of dōgu have been featured in Doraemon. The number of dōgu has been approximated at 4,500. It is this constant variety which makes Doraemon popular even among adult readers/viewers. In the series, the availability of dōgu depends sometimes on the money Doraemon has available, and he often says some dōgu are expensive in the future. The more famous ones include the "bamboo-copter" (very similar to the ones that appears on the older series of Beany and Cecil), a small head accessory that allows flight; the "Anywhere Door", a door that opens up to any place the user wishes; and the "Time Machine". Some of the recurring dōgu appear also in Fujiko F. Fujio's other works such as 21-emon, Kaibutsu-kun, Kiteretsu Daihyakka, Mikio to Mikio or Pāman.
Although he can hear perfectly well, Doraemon has no ears: his robotic ears were eaten by some robotic mice, giving him a series-long phobia of the creatures.
The only main female characters is Shizuka Minamoto, who serves as a friendly interest for Nobita. Shizuka is intelligent and is Nobita's good friend. Nobita's main human friends and/or rivals include Takeshi (nicknamed 'Gian', from the English word giant), a consummate bully, and Suneo, a wealthy but cunning and arrogant brat. There are many recurring supporting characters, such as Dekisugi, Nobita's parents, Gian's mother, his school teacher, his descendants from the future, and Doraemon's little sister, Dorami.
The stories are formulaic, usually focused on the everyday struggles of fifth grader Nobita, the protagonist of the story. In a typical chapter, Nobita comes home crying about a problem he faces in school and/or the local neighborhood. After hearing him out, Doraemon often offers helpful advice to his problem(s), but that's never enough for Nobita, who is consistently looking for the "quick, easy" way out (which offers insight to the viewers as to why Nobita's life turned out the way it did). Finally, after Nobita's pleading and/or goading, Doraemon produces a futuristic gadget out of his aforementioned pouch to help Nobita fix his problem, enact revenge, or flaunt to his friends.
Unfortunately when in possession of the gadget, Nobita usually gets into deeper trouble than before, despite Doraemon's best intentions and warnings. Sometimes, Nobita's friends (usually Suneo or Gian) steal Doraemon's gadgets and end up misusing them. However, by the end of the story, there is usually retribution to the characters who end up misusing them, and a moral is taugh

NARUTO

Twelve years before the start of the series, a powerful creature known as the nine-tailed fox demon attacked the ninja village Konoha, killing many people. In response, the leader of Konoha– the 4th hokage– sacrificed his life to seal the demon inside his son. Konoha, however, regarded Naruto as if he were the demon fox itself and mistreated him throughout most of his childhood. A decree made by the current Kage, the Third Hokage, forbade anyone mention the attack of the demon fox to anyone else. This included Naruto, who was not aware of the demon inside of him. Years later, Naruto is tricked by the renegade ninja Mizuki into stealing a forbidden scroll that would teach him a secret ninja technique, but he is stopped by his teacher, Iruka Umino. When Iruka almost dies while protecting Naruto from Mizuki, who also reveals that he is the container of the Nine-Tailed Fox, Naruto uses the Jutsu he learned from the scroll that creates multiple clones of himself, Shadow Clone Technique, to defeat Mizuki.
Naruto is assigned alongside Sasuke Uchiha, whom he often competes against, and Sakura Haruno to form a four person team named Team 7 under an experienced and severe sensei named Kakashi Hatake. Like all the ninja teams from every village, Team 7 is charged with completing missions requested by villagers, such as doing chores or being bodyguards. After several missions, Kakashi allows Team 7 to participate in a ninja exam in which they can advance to a higher rank, and thus, take part in more difficult missions. During the exams, Orochimaru, a criminal at the top of Konoha's most wanted list, attacks Konoha and kills the Third Hokage in an act of revenge. This forces one of the three legendary ninja, Jiraiya to search for his former teammate Tsunade, who has been nominated to become the Fifth Hokage. During the search, it is revealed that Orochimaru desires to acquire Sasuke due to his powerful genetic heritage, the Sharingan. Believing Orochimaru will be able to give him the strength needed to kill his brother Itachi, who destroyed his clan, Sasuke joins him. Tsunade sends a group of ninja including Naruto to make Sasuke return to Konoha, but Naruto is unable to defeat him and bring him back to the village. Naruto does not give up on Sasuke, however, and he leaves Konoha to train for two-and-a-half years under Jiraiya's tutelage in order to prepare himself for the next time he encounters Sasuke.
After the training period, a criminal organization called Akatsuki attempts to capture the nine powerful tailed beasts that are sealed within people—including the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox sealed inside of Naruto. Several ninjas from Konoha, including Team 7, fight against the Akatsuki members and search for their teammate Sasuke. Although they manage to save Gaara, the host of the One-Tailed beast, Akatsuki is successful in capturing seven of the creatures. In the meantime, Sasuke betrays Orochimaru and faces Itachi to take revenge. After Itachi dies in battle, Sasuke is told by the Akatsuki founder and leader Tobi that Itachi was ordered by Konoha's leadership to destroy his clan. Saddened with this revelation, Sasuke joins forces with Akatsuki to kill Konoha's superiors who orchestrated the Uchihas' elimination.
Meanwhile, as several Akatsuki members are defeated by the Konoha ninjas, their figurehead leader, Pain, invades the village to capture Naruto. However, Naruto defeats him and convinces him to abandon the Akatsuki. With Pain's eventual death, Tobi—disguised as one of Konoha's founding fathers Madara Uchiha—announces that he wants to obtain all nine of the tailed beasts in order to perform an illusion powerful enough to control all of humanity. The leaders of the five ninja villages refuse to aid him, and instead, join forces to confront him and his allies. This results into a fourth ninja world war between the unified armies of the Five Great Countries collectively known as the "Ninja Alliance Army" and Akatsuki's forces.

shin chan

Crayon Shin-chan first appeared in a Japanese weekly magazine called Weekly Manga Action, which is published by Futabasha. The anime Crayon Shin-chan has been on TV Asahi since April 13, 1992, and on several television networks, worldwide.
Many of the jokes in the series stem from Shin-chan's occasionally weird, unnatural and inappropriate use of language, as well as from his inappropriate behavior. Consequently, non-Japanese readers and viewers may find it difficult to understand his jokes. In fact, some of them cannot be translated into other languages. In Japanese, certain set phrases almost always accompany certain actions; many of these phrases have standard responses. A typical gag involves Shin-chan confounding his parents by using the wrong phrase for the occasion; for example, saying "Welcome back!" ("おかえりなさい" "okaeri nasai") instead of "I'm home!" ("ただいま" "Tadaima") when he comes home. Another difficulty in translation arises from the use of onomatopoeic Japanese words. In scolding Shin-chan and attempting to educate him in proper behaviour his parent or tutor may use such a phrase to indicate the correct action. Often through misinterpreting such a phrase as a different, though similar sounding phrase, or through interpreting it in one sense when another is intended, Shin-chan will embark on a course of action which, while it may be what he thinks is being requested of him, leads to bizarre acts which serve only to vex his parents or tutors even more. This is not restricted to onomatopoeic words, since almost any word can become a source of confusion for Shin-chan, including English loan-words, such as mistaking "cool" for "pool" ("That's pool!" or "Pu-ru da zo!" ("プールだぞ!") for "That's cool!").
Some other humorous themes which are repeated in the series are of a more universal nature, such as gags based on physical comedy (such as eating snow with chopsticks) or, as a child, unexpectedly using adult speech patterns or mannerisms. But even there, many of the gags may require an understanding of Japanese culture and/or language to be fully appreciated; for example, his infamous "Mr. Elephant" impression, while being transparently obvious as a physical gag, also has a deeper resonance with contemporary Japanese culture since it references the popular Japanese children's song "Zou-san" (ぞうさん). Shin-chan regularly becomes besotted with pretty female characters who are much older than him, and an additional source of humor is derived from his childlike attempts at wooing these characters, such as by asking them (inappropriately, on several levels) "Do you like green peppers?" He continually displays a lack of tact when talking to adults asking such questions as "How many people have you killed?" to tough looking men or, "When are you going to die?" to elderly people.
During the beginning of the series; the TV show was mostly based on the storyline in the original manga. As the show progressed, more and more episodes became anime-original. The show works under a sliding timescale where the characters have maintained their ages throughout the course of the show. Though time has passed to allow for the rise and fall of several pop culture icons, marriages, pregnancies, and births of various characters, all the characters still maintain their age at the time of their introduction. For example, if the two major births in the series are taken into account (Shinnosuke's sister and his kindergarten teacher's child), Shinnosuke would be seven years old and in second grade, but he is not.
Yoshito Usui died on September 11, 2009 after a fall at Mount Arafune. After Usui died, Futabasha originally planned to end Crayon Shin-chan in November 2009. Upon discovery of new manuscripts, Futabasha decided to extend the comic's run until the March 2010 issue of the magazine, which shipped on February 5, 2010

Ayumu is a high school boy who was killed by a serial killer and resurrected as a zombie by the necromancer, Eucliwood Hellscythe. As a zombie, he is near invincible and can exceed the limits of the human body, giving him great physical strength. However, he still feels pain (but gets over it very quickly) and will also dry out in the sunlight. His body is also weak against fire and tends to break down if used to its utmost limit. There are also various aspects of his zombie nature that Ayumu has yet to discover, such as the ability to absorb magic (Stronger magic absorbs weaker magic). As a result of absorbing Haruna's magic, Ayumu is forced to become a Masō-Shōjo, pink frilly outfit and all, in order to fight Megalos.
Throughout his encounters, it is shown that he is rather a unique zombie, which is possible due to the powerful magic Eucliwood used to revive him. In episode 11 of the anime adaptation when Mystletainn recognizes Haruna as its owner again, it enables them to transform into Masō-Shōjos in tandem right before they fight Yoruno. In episode 12, he temporarily borrows Eu's powers but, much to Sera's chagrin and ire, winds up having perverted thoughts that affect all girls within the vicinity. In the manga, it is shown that Ayumu can kill Megalos with his zombie powers without becoming a Masō-Shōjo himself. He also cannot feel any pain, and when he absorbed Haruna's magic it prevented her from using/touching Mystletainn. When Ayumu turns into a Masō-Shōjo, he still has his zombie powers, but loses some negative effects, such as a weakness to sunlight. He is also more aggressive in the manga, as seen in his fight against Kyoko when it takes the appearance and intervention of Ariel to stop him from killing her, whereas in the anime he refrains from killing her for good after figuring out that she was down to her very last life. He has a hidden talent to break-dance and was able to impress Eu but was asked to not do that again.
Haruna (ハルナ?)
Voiced by: Kaoru Mizuhara (drama CD), Iori Nomizu (anime) (Japanese), Jād Saxton[5] (English)
Haruna is a Masō-Shōjo from Villiers who wields a chainsaw named Mystletainn (ミストルティン Misutorutin?) and battles demons known as Megalos. She can also use her magic to repair damage caused from her battles and erase people's memories, the latter ability which becomes useful to Ayumu at the end of episode 1 (as revealed in episode 2). She was originally ordered by her teacher, Dai-sensei, to go to Kyoto to get some tofu, but she ended up in Tokyo instead. After first encountering Ayumu following a fight with a demon, her magical powers are absorbed by him, due to the fact the magic Eucliwood used to revive him is stronger than hers. As she tries to figure out this situation, she appoints Ayumu to fight the Megalos in her place as a Masō-Shōjo and starts living with him. She is a good cook, though is usually limited to just making fried eggs. Despite being a self-proclaimed genius, she has trouble remembering people's names or important details of assignments, since she only remembers what she deems interesting and forgets everything else. Ayumu's name is an exception to this, suggesting that she cares about him. She appears to have some feelings for Ayumu, showing jealousy when he is close with Yuki and having a dream of kissing Ayumu. She is jealous of Mael for her relationship with Ayumu, even asking him to kiss her.[6][7] Eventually, Mystletainn recognized her as its owner again, enabling herself and Ayumu to transform into Masō-Shōjos in tandem in time for the final battle against Yoruno.
When Iori Nomizu was asked which part of her was similar to Haruna, the character she was voicing, she stated that she and Haruna were both very energetic.[8]
Eucliwood Hellscythe (ユークリウッド・ヘルサイズ Yūkuriuddo Herusaizu?)
Voiced by: Yukari Tamura (drama CD), Midori Tsukimiya (anime) (Japanese), Cherami Leigh[5] (English)
Delusion Eu (Season 1) Voiced by: Kotono Mitsuishi, Mika Kanai, Tomoko Kaneda, Yūko Minaguchi, Satomi Kōrogi, Sakura Tange, Yuki Matsuoka, Noriko Hidaka, Fumi Hirano
Delusion Eu (Season 2) Voiced by: Aya Hisakawa, Kikuko Inoue, Omi Minami, Kimiko Koyama, Mariko Kouda, Etsuko Kozakura, Chisa Yokoyama, Mayumi Iizuka, Sumi Shimamoto, Yui Horie, Rei Sakuma
Eucliwood, called Eu (ユー ?) for short, is a necromancer who brought Ayumu back to life to be her guard and has been living with him since. Her magic is so powerful that she has to wear heavy armor and suppress her emotions in order to control it. Her words also carry strong magic, and she is able to kill someone just by saying "Die" (for example, when she takes on Kyoko and says "Die" multiple times, draining the latter's life supply), so she avoids talking and instead communicates through written notes, mostly pertaining to her appetite. She experiences severe pain whenever her magic is activated, and she claims that even if she were to die her magic would continue uncontrolled. She is also capable of becoming a Masō-Shōjo, and it is implied that she interned at Matelis under Ariel. It is shown that she does care about Ayumu even though she considers him to be her servant, therefore she may have feelings for Ayumu, but cannot express them currently. Ayumu constantly provides her with comfort when she thinks about her many insecurities and she is shown to take these feelings to heart. Out of all of the girls, Eu seems to have the closest relationship with him. She does not like people talking about death or telling them to go die since, as she takes on the pain of anyone she heals, revives or kills, she understands the pain of dying despite being immortal herself.
Ayumu often daydreams about her behaving like a visual novel character and speaking in a cutesy manner (voiced by a different voice actor in each episode of the anime). In episode 11 of the anime adaptation, she spoke to Ayumu for the first time, indicating that she has gained some control over her magic. How or what she did to control it is a mystery; however, she sometimes forgets she can control it, as seen in episode 12 when she has to use a machine developed by Ariel in order to compete with the others in an idol singing competition. The machine temporarily transfers her powers to Ayumu; unfortunately for him, his thoughts quickly spiral out of hand.
Voiced by: Shizuka Itō (drama CD), Yōko Hikasa (anime) (Japanese), Morgan Garrett[5] (English)
Seraphim, "Sera" (セラ?) for short, is a well-endowed vampire ninja (吸血忍者 Kyūketsu-ninja?) who combines her Secret Sword Technique: Swallow Cut (秘剣 燕返し Hiken Tsubamegaeshi?, English anime: "Swallow Return Strike") and ninja reflexes with her vampire powers to fight her enemies. She is able to form a pair of bat wings and a katana out of several leaves. Her signature outfit consists of a yellow spaghetti-strapped top that reveals her midriff and dark blue jeans (this outfit is the one she wears most often in promotional material). As a vampire, she periodically requires blood to stay alive, and can anesthetize people with a kiss in order to numb the pain from neck bites. She does this with other girls, since kissing a boy would symbolize marriage in her cult's rules. She comes to Ayumu's house to serve Eucliwood, though when rejected, she ends up being Ayumu's servant in hopes she can change her mind. She is rather cold towards Ayumu, constantly calling him a dung beetle (クソ虫 Kuso-mushi?), though has a healthy respect for his combat abilities. In episode 9, she has a brief argument with Ayumu over her participation in the contract Sarasvati put out on Eu and, on moral grounds, decides to let Eu live. She is killed by Yoruno in episode 10, only to come back to life when Eu pricks her own finger to supply blood for her—blood which will ultimately make her the key to sealing the gates of the underworld one episode later. In later novels, she seems to be developing feelings for Ayumu, slowly becoming more of a tsundere than when they first met. In episode 8 of Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka? of the Dead, it was confirmed by Kyoko that Seraphim does love Ayumu.
Mael Strom (メイル・シュトローム Meiru Shutorōmu?) / Yuki Yoshida (吉田 友紀 Yoshida Yuki?)
Voiced by: Mamiko Noto (drama CD), Hisako Kanemoto (anime) (Japanese), Brittney Karbowski[5] (English)
A vampire ninja from a different faction from Seraphim's who is also a student in Ayumu's high school, where she is known as Yuki Yoshida. Because of how this name is written, she is often nicknamed "Tomonori" (トモノリ?), which she only allows Ayumu to call her. She is able to use tonkotsu ramen soup to instantly defeat Megalos, though the explanation behind it is too advanced for even her to understand, and has a machine which sprays said soup over the city whenever a horde of Megalos attack. However in the anime, the machine has failed (hinted to be destroyed by Seran's faction because it might upset the environment), and thus the project was given up.[6] As a result of accidentally kissing Ayumu when he was pushed by Haruna, they are technically declared married by her faction's customs, and she constantly acts like a wife while at school. Even though she accepts her position as wife early on due to custom, she eventually develops strong feelings for Ayumu due to his kind and courageous character. She is rather tomboyish, speaking with the term "ore" when talking about herself.
Kirara Hoshikawa (星川 輝羅々 Hoshikawa Kirara?)
Voiced by: Aya Gōda (Japanese), Caitlin Glass[5] (English)
Sarasvati, "Saras" (サラス Sarasu?) for short, is a vampire ninja and Sera's superior who lives in the human world as Kirara Hoshikawa. She puts a contract out on Eu for being a Megalo magnet and has Sera do the job. She isn't too happy to see that Sera had abandoned the mission, though while she considers Sera a traitor for abandoning the mission and puts a hit on her for the effort, Saras saves her and Haruna from Yoruno later on. She later revokes the hit on Eu (and, by extension, the hit on Sera) following the success of her and Mael Strom's factions combined in sealing the gates of the underworld (though Sera was ultimately the key, since she had Eu's blood flowing through her veins following a fatal injury incurred by Yoruno). She becomes a major character in Jigoku Hen, as well as later light novels. Later, she falls in love with Ayumu (to be more precise, love at first sight when she sees his butt and curve line, but properly falls in love with him nonetheless). She leads a double life as the idol singer Lovely Kirara, garnering much popularity in the human world.

Lucy Heartfilia is a 17-year-old celestial wizard who runs away from home to join Fairy Tail, a rambunctious wizards' guild whose members are famous for their overly destructive antics. Along the way, she meets Natsu Dragneel, a boy who is traveling the land of Fiore together with his partner Happy, a flying cat, in search of his foster parent, a dragon named Igneel who had disappeared seven years earlier. Lucy is soon abducted by a renegade wizard posing as the famous Salamander of Fairy Tail. Natsu rescues Lucy, revealing himself to be the real Salamander and a Dragon Slayer, a wizard with the abilities of a dragon. After defeating the imposter, Natsu allows Lucy to join Fairy Tail.
Lucy forms a team with Natsu and Happy, along with Gray Fullbuster, an ice wizard with a habit of accidentally stripping, and Erza Scarlet, an armored female wizard. They are tasked with completing missions requested by people and collect money for rewards, such as hunting monsters and fighting illegal guilds called dark guilds. Soon after, the rival guild Phantom Lord attacks Fairy Tail, resulting in a guild war. Fairy Tail defeats the rival guild, and Phantom Lord members Gajeel Redfox, a Dragon Slayer raised by the dragon Metalicana, and Juvia Lockser, a water wizard, join Fairy Tail. The guild also crosses paths with Jellal Fernandes, Erza's childhood friend who is being manipulated by Ultear Milkovich to revive the ancient dark wizard Zeref using the Tower of Heaven. Natsu defeats Jellal and the Tower of Heaven is destroyed. Later, Laxus Dreyar, the renegade grandson of the guild's master Makarov Dreyar, stages a battle royal in Fairy Tail and is expelled as a result.
Forming an alliance with the wizard guilds Blue Pegasus, Lamia Scale and Cait Shelter, Fairy Tail fights and defeats the dark guild Oración Seis with the help of a reformed Jellal, who is arrested for his previous crimes. Wendy Marvell, a Dragon Slayer raised by Grandine and the sole member of Cait Shelter, joins Fairy Tail along with her flying cat Carla. Lucy, Natsu and the others enter the alternate universe of Edolas when their guild vanishes due to Edolas' powers. The group encounters Faust, the universe's king who intends to bestow a limitless supply of magic for the universe. Happy also discovers his and Carla's heritage as Exceeds sent to Earthland as infants on the orders of their queen Chagot. Allying with the Exceeds and Faust's son Mystogan, Fairy Tail defeats Faust and restores their guild at the cost of Edolas' magical power being drained. The group returns to Earthland together with the Exceeds, one of which, Pantherlily, forms a partnership with Gajeel.
Later, several members of Fairy Tail, including Natsu, Lucy, and their allies, participate in an exam on their guild's sacred ground of Tenrou Island in which wizards can advance to a higher rank and thus take part in more dangerous missions. During the exam, the dark guild Grimoire Heart appears and seeks Zeref, who has been living on the island. Aided by a reformed Laxus, Fairy Tail defeats Grimoire Heart, and Zeref kills the guild's leader Hades. However, the incident summons the black dragon Acnologia, which attacks the island. The spirit of Fairy Tail's founding master, Mavis Vermilion, protects everyone on the island from Acnologia's assault with a defensive spell, freezing them in time.
Seven years later, the spell lifts and the returning members of Fairy Tail discover their guild to be the weakest in Fiore. The group participates in an annual tournament to decide the country's strongest guild called the Grand Magic Games. Also participating in the tournament are Sabertooth, the current strongest guild containing Dragon Slayers Sting Eucliffe and Rogue Cheney, and Raven Tail, a guild led by Makarov's resentful son Ivan. Meanwhile, Arcadios, a royal army captain, plans to open a magic gateway for Zeref by stealing the 12 Zodiac gatekeys.

In the year 2046, Neuro-synchronization, a technology system that allows humans to manipulate their five senses, has become widespread to the point where people can access the Internet and enter virtual worlds through a device known as a Neuro-Linker. Haruyuki "Haru" Arita is a short, fat boy who has low-self esteem due to constant bullying. To escape the torment of real life, he logs in to the school's virtual world network where he plays squash alone and always gets the highest score.
One day, Haru attracts the attention of the Student Council Vice-President "Kuroyukihime" who offers him Brain Burst, a secret program which allows a person to make time appear to stand still in their surroundings by "accelerating" their brainwaves in the real world. Unfortunately, there is a limit to how many times a person can accelerate since each acceleration costs Burst Points, and the primary way to get more points is to fight and defeat other Brain Burst users in the program's virtual reality massive multiplayer online (VRMMO) fighting game. However, if a user loses all of his or her points, the Brain Burst program will uninstall itself and block all re-installation attempts, thus permanently removing the user's ability to accelerate. In addition, a Brain Burst user may only distribute a single copy of the game. Due to the nature of Brain Burst, the installation may fail if certain conditions are not met. In order to successfully install and use Brain Burst, a prospective user must have a Neuro-Linker installed at birth and must be able to handle heightened brain activity. The one-distribution-per-user rule applies even if an installation fails. Users of Brain Burst are known as "Burst Linkers".
Kuroyukihime wants Haru's help as she wishes to reach the highest achievable level, which is level 10, and meet the creator of Brain Burst in order to learn its true purpose, but in order to do that, she must defeat five other level 9 users who are known as "The Six Kings of Pure Color," the leaders of the six most powerful factions in the Brain Burst world. Haru agrees to help Kuroyukihime to repay her as well as overcome his weaknesses.

Main characters

Tsumiki Miniwa (御庭 つみき Miniwa Tsumiki?)
Voiced by: Rumi Ōkubo
The main female protagonist. Tsumiki is somewhat petite and dainty in stature. She has a tsundere attitude (she is sharp and sarcastic on the outside and loving on the inside), and has a crush on Io. Every time Io gives Tsumiki a pat on the head or Tsumiki sees something she likes, she grows cat ears. Tsumiki has shown an unusual level of strength for her size, often shown it at Mayoi's expense. She is skilled at arcade games, which is demonstrated in Episode 1 of the anime series.
Io Otonashi (音無 伊御 Otonashi Io?)
Voiced by: Nobuhiko Okamoto
The main male protagonist. Dense, yet kind at heart. He is oblivious of Tsumiki's crush on him, but she is the closest girl to him regardless. He is usually seen spinning a pen with his hand, often fast enough to catch Mayoi's surprise at his hand's speed. At times, he unknowingly acts like a casanova. He is also quite strong, which is often (though not as often as Tsumiki) showed during Sakaki or Mayoi's pranks or antics.
Mayoi Katase (片瀬 真宵 Katase Mayoi?)
Voiced by: Hitomi Nabatame
Along with Sakaki, she makes up the prankster duo in the friendship circle. Very savvy with electronics and almost never seen without her lab coat. She loves to tease Tsumiki, which often brings her severe repercussions from Tsumiki herself. She tends to end her sentences with "nyan".
Sakaki Inui (戌井 榊 Inui Sakaki?)
